Our client operates in partnership with retailers and their financial stakeholders across Europe to resolve complex or distressed situations. With their European H/Q in London and a reputation for maximising returns and minimising risk in difficult retail situations across Europe they are looking for a Development Director who has his/her own personal brand strong enough to move into this area of consultancy sales where your clients will be:

Under-performing retail businesses or divisions

Clients in need of finance

Banks

For this role you will need to develop and convert prospective turnaround consultancy clients along with disposition advisory and appraisal inquiries. The deal origination process is not straightforward and involves managing a complex network of retailers and their financial stakeholders. You will likely be a successful EMEA sales executive who has worked with a blue-chip integrator including SAP, one of the Big 4, etc.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain relationships across a variety of sales channels including retailers, banks, insolvency practitioners, accountants, restructuring boutiques, private equity houses and lawyers.

Participate in appropriate industry forums throughout Europe to build network.

Demonstrate expertise and credibility in face to face meetings,
formal presentations and in writing.

Determine appropriate solution based on client needs, engagement scope and deal complexity.

Draft engagement and proposal letters to communicate timings and fees.

Document all external contacts in internal CRM system (Salesforce).

You will be responsible for delivering an annual sales target and the primary measure of success will be sales. An element of remuneration will be linked to sales performance.
